Studio Project #10
Market Gallery are pleased to offer two artists or collectives the chance to continue our highly successful programme of studio projects. Successful applicants will be provided with the freedom of space and time to experiment and create new work. Market will provide 24 hour access to the gallery’s two large glass-fronted spaces for the duration of 4 weeks, with an additional three week public exhibition. Artists will be expected to treat market’s gallery spaces as an open studio, allowing progress to be visible and also encouraging inter-action. Market is unable to arrange accommodation and applicants must not be within full/part time educa-tion.

Market will provide an artist fee of £400, plus a further £400 towards expenses.The project will take place between the 4 February – 21 March 2008.

Deadline for Submissions Monday 7 January

Please submit:5 – 8 slides/JPEGS of recent work, clearly labelled.and or video compilation no longer than 5 minutesproposal/statement ( no longer than A4 )CV with contact detailsSAE for return of material*.
