Pour cette année 2008, Appelboom s’est fixé deux axes pour ses appels à résidence :
Art sonore (2 personnes/an) : ce volet s’adresse à des artistes dont le travail porte sur une réflexion autour du territoire à travers le médium son (musique, installation sonore, projet transdisciplinaire).

Tous domaines (2 personnes/an) : Un second volet plus large s’ouvre à de jeunes artistes cherchant à développer une proposition en lien avec le territoire.

Pour participer à une résidence 2008 la date limite de dépôt des dossiers est le 7 janvier 2008.
Dans une volonté de médiation culturelle et de sensibilisation à l’art contemporain, des ateliers sont mis en place avec des structures locales autour d’une réflexion sur le territoire et le paysage.

You will find information concerning residency location, program and call for proposal for 2008.
In 2008, Appelboom has chosen 2 different main lines for its residencies:
Sound art (2 artists/year): This line addresses to artists whose work is concerned with territory and who use sound media (music, sound installation, cross-disciplinary project).

Every artistic field (2 artists/year): This second line is wider and opened to young artists who look for the right conditions to develop their artistic proposal in relationship with the territory.

To apply for residency in 2008, proposals should be sent before the 7th of January.
With the aim of developing cultural mediation and raising awareness of art and contemporary creation, educational workshops are organised with the local structures in order to develop a common thought on landscape and territory.
