RIDER Project 2006 presents NeuBEES. NeuBEES is an exhibition on the subject of emergence theory, bees and the collective power of art to initiate change. The collection looks at the idea of emergence theory within art and the art community as it travels through neighborhoods with art installed in a moving truck. NeuBEES is co-curated by Petrushka Bazin, Lindsay Blatt and Gina Fuentes Walker. On opening night, the NeuBEES exhibition will be joined by Ries Productions’ "Mobile Exhibitions” traveling to Brooklyn from Chicago.

About NeuBEES
Emergence theory develops when one organism is introduced into the world and its actions, uncalculated, collaborate with other beings to make or break something powerful, such as an anthill.

About the RIDER Project
Founded and directed by Michele Gambetta, the RIDER Project promotes mobile art exhibitions and (positive) social change. RIDER is staffed and funded by the participating artists, who act as a continuous and evolving collaborative. NeuBEES is the 8th exhibition in the RIDER Project series.
